Bailey

Gretchen aka Bailey

We recieved an update from Gretchen a sweet little shepherd mix that stole our hearts with her winning personality.

Well first of all thank you very much for allowing us to adopt Gretchen now called “Bailey”. Shadow our last dog of 14 Years (lab) is now feeling much more comfortable. Bailey is a fantastic smart dog that instantly became an important family member. Her heart is so big to please and has learned two commands so far and  instantly learned to go outside when she needs to, she also has found the sweet spot to lay down where Shadow always did. If you look into her eyes closely you can sense how happy she is to have found a home. With that being said she wants to tell you all something.

“ Hello everyone, hey I found a family with a nice home and a sweet place to lay down on a couch!  They feed me and already have given me a bath...ugh! I have a big back yard to play in and have a little hairy dog that I made friends with ?  My dad has a big truck that we go for rides in and guess what? I found the biggest water bowl in the world! He calls it Seneca Lake but I can see he needs lots of training too because I know that’s a huge big bowl of water! They also gave me a rope toy so I can play with, although I have a problem with that, they keep trying to take it from me and I pull with all my body not to let them have it. But I win every time!  My brother is so cool and I can see how much he loves me. We became friends when I first seen him, I love him something special. My mom took a little while but I soon learned to convince her.  I even met what they call grandkids, trust me guys they can really tire you out.... trust me!
For all my friends back at my old home I hope you all find a wonderful family like I did, my puppy prayers will always be with you that your dreams come true. I got to go play see ya later!” Your friend, Bailey.

Update: Recieved May 19th, 2011

Well one week is nearly in the history books and with the adoption on Bailey (Gretchen) with no problems at all. Completely house broken, she also passed the 1st test of being alone in the house for a while. I was very worried about separation anxiety, but she caught on quick with no problems. Today she has her license and had her 1st veterinary visit. She is one smart dog and will be loved and well taken care of.

I want to thank you all for a wonder job you do, especially when I called Bill at his home, Bill was very understanding and he took the time to explain about the services you provide. I can only pray that anyone that is looking for a pet visit Happy Tails and give some dog or cat a chance as we did. It’s been a wonderful self gratifying experience knowing we gave Bailey a home. She has a heart so full of love and is so happy. Thank you again and god bless you all for the service you provide.
The Carney family.
Thanks Bill!
