A Letter from Mr. Lucky
This is a letter we recieved on April 7th 2008 from one of our favorite cats Mr. Lucky. (A little background on Mr. Lucky, he was a stray cat that someone called in to us as being hit by a car. We went to get him only to find out that whatever had happened to him had happened a long time ago. His right paw had been severly damaged and he couldnt use it or his leg at all. So our director after having spent some time with him decided Mr. Lucky needed the surgery to remove his leg and give him a chance at a new life. He was adopted by the Labarr family on March 24th, 2008)
To all my Happy Tails Family,
Just wanted you all to know that this is a pretty cushy place. My new family is easily trained, I've got the whole place organized to my liking. I'm really good at going out doors around the house into places I'm not susposed to be, then making them come and get me, its all very entertaining. I've adopted Grandma's favorite chair. I've got all kinds of toys to play with. I'm good with all my new familys friends. The cellar stairs were quite a challenge, they kind of scared me, but no problem now, I fly up and down them, having three legs hasn't slowed me down, and there are many interesting spots in Dads shop to investigate. Just wanted you to know that I've got everything under control, I'll stop by soon and say Hi.
