Hopper's New Life

On February 16th 2007, we recieved a call that there was a stray dog in the city of Geneva. We went out and found a lab/ chow mix running around. The Animal Control Officer picked him up and brought him to the shelter. The dog later named by shelter staff Hopper, was a good boy, he hopped in the kennel like a frog (hence the name). It was discovered on exam that he had a condition known as Eutropia (where the eyelids turn in and the eye lashes poke at the eye). He was here until Mr. and Mrs. Dumperth came in on February 18th 2008. They fell in love with our Hopper (which they have renamed Dudley). His eye has been taken care of and he is neutered. They are getting along fine, and he is Mr. Dumperth's buddy. They have had him a short time but swear he is learning more and more everyday. We are always happy to have visits and we thank them for bringing him in for us to see.
