Kokomo

I adopted Eugene the Persian cat on March 9th, 2010. I am very pleased with him. I had to rename him Kokomo, or Koko for short. Eugene seemed too old-manish for his personality. At first he seemed a little shy and ran away when we came near. But now he is much more comfortable and has become quite the lap cat! As soon as I sit down he hops up and demands some loving. He butts his head against me to show that he wants it rubbed. Eventually he flops over so that I can rub his belly. Very unusual for a cat! The he will go and visit the laps of others in the room. A very equal opportunity cat. He spends the evening goin back and forth between laps sharing his purry love. He shares the litter box and food bowl with our other cat, which is great. He enjoys being brushed which is good given that he's a Persian. I am so glad to have found him after losing my husky to old age in November and my cat to cancer in January. Kokomo really fills a void.
