Sparkle
Dear Liz and everyone at the Ontario County Humane Society:
I brought home today the adorable, but very neglected, Scottie mix. We went straight to Canfield Vet to have her nails trimmed. Pre-pedicure weight was 18 lbs. After the nail-clipping, she was 17.6 lbs!
As soon as we arrived home, she had a bath. Lots of dirt flowed down the drain. And does she clean up well! I wish you could see her now (yes, I will send a photo, soon). Gorgeous curly salt & pepper coat. The white on her face, around her neck and those two paws is now bright and shiny. Her name became obvious to me: Sparkle.
She must have had a good home at some point; she knows "sit", "down," and she also sits up for treats. She gets along fine with the Persian cat from the Ontario County Humane Society, and my other cats, and seems fine with my other two dogs.
Thank you for all your assistance in making this match. Sparkle is going to live happily ever after.
