Pooh Bear Returns Home
Thanks
to a television and the Ontario County "Your County Live" radio
show, Betty Gartley and her husband Lee found their long-lost pet at
the Ontario County Humane Society. Pooh Bear was lost in Greece when
the Gartleys moved to Honeoye almost a year ago. All searching along
Latta Road in Greece had been in vain. In early October, the Ontario
County Humane Society staff picked up Pooh Bear on Route 5 and 20 after
an area resident had alerted them that a dog was acting confused and
darting in and out of traffic. Unfortunately, Pooh Bear cannot tell us
about his year-long adventure. The reunion of dog and humans was out
of this world.
